I’m Scared of Going into Another Relationship...What do i do?

Hi guys this is real. I am not saying other mails aren’t real, but most of them are sent with anonymous mails. Only few are sent with real names. The lady in question sent the mail with her real names. She must really need the relationship tips. Please let us help her out. I wish her luck though. The mail when you continue.


Sis Ladun I am one of your fans and I constantly read and contribute to your blog but I have a problem I am 23yrs old and I am already a barrister, I am a Yoruba lady and my problem is that I am not in any relationship. Considering that I've had only 2 serious affairs and it all ended because I felt drained and exhausted, I am currently lonely and I need advice from all LLB readers

 All my previous relationship ended because:

1. I usually do the spending in the relationship.

2. All my ex guys seems to care less about how I feel. I mean they are usually indifferent about me.

3. As soon as I see the signals I move on and don't was my time though I go home and cry my eyes out.

Another problem is that my parents want to know who I am dating since I am the last child and I really need a sincere, loving, and comfortable guy who would treat me like the lady I am supposed to be. I am scared of going into any relationship in fact I am confused. I need relationship tips.

  6. The problem is in ur message. Cut down on the spending & it seems you aint patient enof. Those signals @ times might not be what it seems to look like hence stop assuming things & face your fear. Communication matters as well. A very big thank you to all those who said somefing reasonable and to others I fink you should not comment if you have no good words to offer (you negative words may be causing more harm than you can imagine)...... I sent this mail to LLB because I felt I needed help as this issue was weighing me down and preventing me from concentrating as I am currently doing my masters.it was getting depressing and my mum is fond of telling how as a young lady I should be planning to settle down and that men would run from me If I study too much:
    - I don't bail out of affairs except the hand writing is clearly written on the wall.
    -i would take to the reasonable advises given and for those with notfing to offer I wud just laugh over it.
    - I really wanna apprecaite all those that have helped me there suggestion.....I fell relieved. And better

  39. the problem is that the girl is giving in to pressure from her parents. The first step to a successful relationship is freedom. You have to be able to think for yourself and decide what you actually want in a man. The fact that you are just 23 makes the whole situation easy.
    Another problem might be that your level of maturity is still low for a serious relationship. Just try to keep good friends around you and enjoy life for now.
    A good man will definitely come your way soon.
    I got married at age 30 after knowing my husband for two years. Actual dating took three months before we concluded we were meant for each other.
    Now we are happily married and best of friends. We work at making each other happy at all times.
    Also, you have to be prayerful. Many young people ignore the mighty hands of their Creator. Just tell God the kind of man you want and He will give it to you.
    Finally, keep yourself for your future husband. He will cherish you forever if you can do that.
